You are welcome to sign up on the Academiac homepage website with your details. You will then be able to search for your own tutor or contact the Academiac specialist team to assist you with matching you with your amazing tutor.

You will receive an email to activate your account. Please check your email (this could be in your junk folder) and activate your account. Complete the rest of your details and find your perfect match!

There are two ways to be matched with your perfect tutor. You can use our search function which does the work for you and you don’t have to sift through hundreds of profiles. You are welcome to contact up to 3 tutors and they will confirm their availability. Another way is to contact our team and we will help you with your tutor request. We really know our tutors, so we are happy to help you.

Our tutors have a variety of different backgrounds and are currently studying in University, already graduated or working individuals. This includes former and current teachers or working professionals who are experts in their field. All our tutors are passionate about tutoring and helping their students succeed in their goals. The Academiac team makes sure that your tutor is an expert in their respective academic subject.

Our tutors go through a thorough screening process to ensure we only have top quality tutors to assist you. We go through all of their credentials, references and tutoring experience so you don’t have to waste time looking through all the little details. They are required to provide their certificates, degrees and police clearance to our tutor specialist team in order to become an Academiac tutor.

Your tutor is matched according to your availability. At times, we may ask you if you are open to a different time which will allow us to match you with more tutors. Our tutors schedules are according to when they have classes or finish work.   

Tutoring takes place at your home or any venue convenient for you. You are also welcome to try online tutoring.

Academiac offers one-on-one tutoring or group tutoring at your home. Classroom type tutoring can be arranged with a maximum of 10 learners per class.

Our tutors are able to tutor all Primary and High School subjects, University modules, Language tutoring and Corporate group tutoring. Our most in demand subjects are Maths, Science, Accounting and Afrikaans but we have had requests for other subjects such as Economics, Engineering and Graphics Design, Chemistry and Advanced Programme subjects.

We do our utmost best to match a tutor who can tutor in your preferred language as we know how important it is to feel comfortable and understand your tutor to fully benefit from the lessons.

We have monthly plans but unfortunately, Academiac does not offer split payments on any package

You will be provided with your tutors contact details once you have purchased a package. Your tutor will also be in contact to introduce themselves.
